On The Road Again... Nebraska! We left the morning of August 5th for our annual trip to Nebraska. My Mom and I started out with the boys a few minutes before Dad, Jenny, and Jason left in another car.

Kyle and Kase got strapped into their car seats for the 12 hour drive.

We didn't make it out of Waco before they started asking to watch Blue's Clues.

We knew our first stop would be in West, less than 30 miles from Waco, at the Czech Stop Bakery. My Mom and I made it to West first, so we let the boys play at a church playground while the others caught up.

After spending way too much money at the bakery, we were back on the road.

Kyle was a fan of our last minute purchase, garlic cheddar biscuits.

And then the task of keeping the boys busy and entertained started. I picked up a couple of these lap pads. They came with a pad of paper that stuck to the top like a post-it and several of the Color Wonder markers that will only mark on the special paper. Kase has been known to bite the tips off of the markers so he had to be under close supervision.

The coloring held Kyle's attention longer than it did Kase's.

The Winstar Casino is just past the Texas/Oklahoma border. Jason, Jenny and my Dad stopped there while my Mom, the boys, and I kept going. I had done a little research ahead of time and found a mall, right on the interstate, in Norman, Oklahoma with an indoor playground and a Chick-Fil-A. We let the boys play in the air conditioning for a while.

I caught Kase trying to jack this little girl's sunglasses. After a little talk he decided to give them back.

After 20 or 30 minutes they closed the play area for cleaning so we walked around the mall with the boys. Kyle was trying to figure out how to get to all of those balls.

And then they found the photo booth! They had so much fun running in, out, and around the photo booth. And there were buttons to push so it was pretty much the coolest thing ever.

And we actually tried to have our picture made in the photo booth, but you can see the boys we not at all interested in sitting still.

After an hour or so of playing, the gambling group caught up with us and we all ate at the Chick-Fil-A at the mall.

Kyle and Kase only slept for 30 minutes the entire trip... and of course that was at different times.

We watched a million episodes of Blue's Clues and Baby Signing Time. And when they got tired of that, I had to get creative. "Where's Kyle?" and "Where's Kase?" was always a crowd pleaser.

This picture is actually from the trip home, but it was too cute not to include. Kyle was wanting more of some crackers that I was handing out so he was signing more. At one point, he was holding his baby and making him sign "more" by tapping his baby's fingertips together and saying "more". It was so sticking cute!

They really did well riding in the car for that long. They were always ready to get out and run around when they could, and were so happy when we finally got to my Grandma's house. I think everyone there was pretty excited to see us too.

**Sorry for the crappy photo quality. All of these were taking with my iphone.**
