We Are Family

We went to Fredericksburg for Jason's Family Reunion October 16-18. Jason's Mom rented a great bed and breakfast for us all to stay in. We drove down with the boys Friday afternoon and went to dinner with some family members Friday night. We brought the play yard along and set it up in the living room.

Saturday morning I took the boys for a walk up and down main street before the reunion. They both ended up falling asleep on the walk and I figured that was going to be their only morning nap so we went for a pretty long walk. It was getting late and I needed to take a shower and get ready so I walked back to our house and got Jason to switch with me. I got ready, and he kept walking with them until they woke up. I bet they got close to an hour nap in that way. Which was good because they didn't sleep great that night in a new place, and I didn't want them to be crabby for the family reunion.

The reunion was at one of the building in the LBJ State Park. We had a great view of the river and the weather was beautiful. It was really pretty out there. Kyle and Kase had baby food, but everyone else ate Mexican Stack Up. They did get to snack on some cheese...

and of course cheerios...

And most of it ended up on the floor! Here is proof that Jason knows how to use a broom!

Becca got some kisses from Kase.

There was also an old farm and old houses at the State Park. Kase fell asleep, but Kyle got to see what life was like back in the day!

We had a great time and we were glad that so many family members got to meet the boys and spend time with them.
